Usable by a limited number of Members are displayed in the shopping basket and in the accommodation reservation step. Among those Coupons displayed, Members will select Coupons that they wish to use.

There are two ways to acquire Coupons.

1) By clicking

Members can acquire Coupons by clicking buttons or URLs posted in e-mails and on websites.

2) By entering coupon codes

Members can acquire Coupons by entering coupon codes in the coupon code entry page.

If Members use the Services without selecting Coupons, Members cannot seek out Coupons Privileges or discounts after completion of the application process. When using discount Coupons, points are generally given to the amount (excluding tax) obtained by deducting the discount amount with the Coupons from the Services amount. Coupons have the valid periods. Coupons cannot be used before and after the valid periods.

If Members cancel the Services after selecting Coupons and using the Services, procedures for cancelation shall vary depending on the Services. Check the website of each Service for details. If Members select discount Coupons and use the Services and cancel it after payment is completed, the refunded price will be the price less the discount amount with Coupons, regardless of the reason for cancelation. * Rules on refund shall vary depending on the Services, shops and facilities used.

The method and effect of use of Coupons shall be stipulated for each Service. Check the website of each Service for details.

Examples of Usage and Calculations of Coupons

• The number of times once acquired Coupons can be used shall depend on the type of Coupons.
• The ability to use different kinds of Coupons for one-time service at once shall depend on the type of Coupons.
• If a fixed rate discount (xx% discount) Coupons and a fixed amount discount (xx yen discount) Coupons can be used in combination for one-time service, as a general rule, the fixed rate discount Coupons shall have priority over the fixed discount Coupons.
• If multiple fixed amount discount (xx yen discount) Coupons can be used for one kind of product or one-time shopping, in principle, Coupons shall be used in order of earlier expiry dates.
• If the discount amounts set for Coupons exceed the service fees, the difference shall not be refunded and the use frequency of Coupons shall be decreased for one time.
• When using a fixed rate discount (xx % discount) Coupons results in a decimal fraction, the discount amount after a decimal point shall be truncated.

Notification emails notify Members when valid periods of Coupons commence and expire.
The emails are not sent if Coupons are canceled before email transmission.
Emails are not sent to mobile email addresses.
Use setting page to change notification emails for acquired Coupons.
Notification emails for Rakuten Ichiba Coupons are sent on the day before the expiry date.
Notification emails for Rakuten Travel Coupons are sent one week before the expiry date.
Notification emails are sent from 'coupon.rakuten.co.jp' .
Depending on the usage, notification emails may arrive after Coupons have been used.
